Montreal-based Resolute Forest Products Inc. has decided to curtail production at many of its sawmills during the fourth quarter.  According to a spokesman, the cuts equate to approximately 10% of the company's total lumber production capacity.  Resolute said the decision was the result of current lumber market conditions that have become increasingly challenging over the past several months, along with log transportation and cost issues caused by extremely wet weather in recent weeks ...
